Title: 10 good reasons

Hi all

I need to give 10 good reasons to have an office carpet cleaned, apart from the obvious I'm struggling to find 10. Any ideas?

clean carpets impress customers and project a professional image

improvement of indoor air quality

saves money by delaying the replacement of the carpets

employee job satisfaction and wellbeing is increased when they work in a cared for environment

the workplace is heavily disrupted if carpets have to be replaced, cleaning stops this inconvenience.

all I can think of....

Dirty carpets give a bad impression to visitors.

Why is 10 the magic number?

Mike's covered the main ones.

Your staff will be more productive and take less time off sick.

Your customers are more likely to buy more from you.

Carpet maintenance pays for itself by increasing carpet lifespan 

Save money over replacement and downtime costs

You won't get shut down if it's a requirement. (CQC)

Smells better

Healthier if treated with a bactericde, less days off.

Less dust- asthma?

Anti static - Don't lose all your computer data

Soil retardancy looks better longer, extends life of carpet.

if they have there carpets cleaned you make money keeping you off the dole and therefore keeping there tax down in the long run. hey plus all the above i'm just trying to create new ones. ;D

You can provide them with an invoice to offset against their tax too.

After the ceiling its the largest single surface area in the whole office.

If its a large building it can cost over £100 an hour to light it. Plus security staff if it's not already manned 24 hours,

A well managed maintenance program will take less time over the course of a year on quarterly visits than a one off deep clean resulting in a lower total cost and decreased life cycle costing as appearance retention is held, and life span extended.
