just used my mates phoenix 26 for the last 2 days . his vans not quite sorted so i offered to break his pole in ;D.its a fantastic pole and tested it on all my hard work .deep connys , 3 storry town houses .ive only owned and used 5 poles but this is the best . marks out of 10 for the poles ive used , brodex scaffold 2 , clx 27 -6 , slx 25 and elite 25 both score 8 but the phoenix gets 9. its a shame my elite is only 18 months old and going strong as this pole would now be in my van . and no i didnt measure it or weigh it ;D

but its not gardiner lol. you must be mistaken, im ordering a new slx this weekend. i thought about trying the phoenix. but decided to go gardiner because gardiner poles are tried and tested and i dont want too make a mistake like i did buying ionics rubbish. im not suggesting phoenix are rubbish before i get attacked . they look really good tbh but not had the day to day testing that gardiner poles have had yet

Hear what your saying, but Facelift have been around longer than Gardiners and producing water fed poles for coming up to 10 years.
Not much to try and test in those circumstances!!
-
true but the phoenix is a totally new pole. interested to see how the carbon lasts under the daily rigours a windy puts it through. my ionics looked great (to me) but ended up crap tbh. again im not suggesting the phoenix is gonna be like that . in fact i like the look of it just be interested to see a review after 6 months or so. good price though

It's also true that Facelift didn't actually advance at all for 9.9 of those years & the remaining 0.1 is yet to be realised! ;D

Word of warning lad I know broke top section of new Phoenix pole on second day he had it, now the lads he has working for him are not the kindest to poles but just makes me think that this narrow top section is not the greatest idea.

How much is the pole? I notice that the Facelift glass fibre poles are more expensive than the CLX.

Hi guys, standard glass Phoenix is less than CLX just to clarify.. Hybrid priced very similiar to CLX..
I am sure the customer with the section issue will be in touch and we will rectify the situation. Right now the circumstances on this event aren't clear to me. Good or Bad the news will become clear soon I am sure...
Enjoy the rest of your weekends!

I have been send 2 top sections (ul)
I have only had a brief look at them ,will be giving them a good go this coming week.
My first thoughts on the Pheonix is how much slimmer it is to other poles.
Now this top section ,under normal use i would not think it would break.
It doesnt seem to whip around (flex). This is on the compisit one yet to try the GF one.
I will update once i have tried it .

he must have been very clumsy to break the top section . i had it fully extended quite a few times and it easily did all the work my elite 25 does . even angling it over connys .and the brush i use isnt the lightest .its an ionics brush and the pole never felt under pressure .but for the regular work ididnt extend the top section and felt very light to use all day . cheers barry ;D

The Phoenix 18' and 22' has the same reach as the equivalent sizes available, we have yet to release any larger sizes than this but will be doing in the very near future... The larger sizes will have the same reach as equivalents available..
Prices can be seen on Polarbrite and Aqua Dapter websites

Thermoclean, Could you forward me the details of who this was as we've not heard anything in the office about anyone breaking the top section, which I'm surprised about especially if it happened on the second day. I would of thought they would contact us straight away. Thanks
