Title: aircraft and ferry cleaning

anybody on here have any luck securing work with these.
Do these contracts go to tender? can they be done with a portable?
any replies appreciated

We do ships all the time and have succeeded at it because we can clean huge areas in the fraction of the time it takes with portables and to a much higher standard. Ferry carpets tend to be very dirty so to cover the areas they need done within very tight deadlines makes it a problem with portables. A lot of ships have their own equipment and only use professionals when they have to.
Aircraft tend to be done with tm's too but not exclusively but you've got the same problem....time!

I would have thought doing planes is particlarly tricky due to the amount of voids and hatches in the floorplan.

Would have thought aircraft would need a tm for power also insurance could be tricky

The tricky bit with aircraft is getting approval for the products your going to use as there are allkinds of rules for aircraft

I would have thought that insurance could be quite pricey, but if you could secure the work it could be used as a brilliant marketing tool, pictures on your website etc
