Title: john guest tap

fitted a john guest tap to my facelift pole hose , fitted at top by brush , now i tryed to fit it on difrent brush which has yellow 5 inch hose but it wont quite fit in , ive warmed it up with hot water but to no avail , i have only seen a 8 inch tap to but on line , my tap now says 5 and a half on it what ever that means .. hope this makes sence  ??? ???

I use a JG 1/4" push fit tap at the brush head. I cut the pole hose just before the Y and then superglue in a bit of 1/4" RO tubing at each and the JG fits nicely.

What you need is the following:

1x 8mm Push-Fit inline valve:

2x 6mm barb to 8mm JG stem to fit one in either end:

thank you alex , just gone to website to order and noticed you had some much cheaper plastic taps , maybe not as good quality but im always breaking stuff anyway so would go with cheaper option , would any of these do me , thanx in advance  ;D

These plastic taps would not fit this size hose and are more for isolation purposes (tanks, etc) so are not as easy to operate.
