If I want to mount a 4040 vertically, do I have the water input at the bottom or the top?

Click on the Pure Freedom banner at the top of this homepage, it shows the Pure Freedom system with the input at the top on their system.

Mine is fed from the bottom after the pre-filters.

Mine is fed from the bottom after the pre-filters.

I've done that with mine as this way it will remove all the air from the filter naturally.
