Hi any of you guys on a franchise who offers the best deal have Van etc just wondered how it all works

there's a couple on here Dave, but you ever just thought of setting up for yourself, there's lots of people on here who would give advice.

yes have set up but finding it hard to generate round tried buying some work Bedfordshire area none for sale ...was looking at franchise for some regular work & build up round alongside ?

If you spend a couple of grand + or so on 50k flyers printed and delivered, you will get the customers you are looking for.
Also include on the flyers gutter cleaning, and conservatory/upvc cleaning to gain extra work.

i have a small amount of trad work for sale in wgc, which is not to far from luton, there is also opportunities in the town for wfp on the 3 storey houses and flats in the town as very few local window cleaners using wfp.

Why pay for a franchise? With a little effort start on you own. Use the money needed to buy a franchise to live on for a few months whilst you build your round. Then ALL the money you earn will be yours instead of giving 10/20% to some one else

i certainly wouldnt entertain you if you are building up along side. Whats in that for the franchisor? Any new work would leagally belong to the rranchisor, not you.

it depends what the franchise was like, if you didn't want the hassle of building your own then maybe look at a franchise but be warned a lot of the franchise will still require you getting all the work yourself.. unless its a system like Ian Lancaster's .. if i was starting up now and lived closer i would probably pay into that pretty good deal in my eyes
