could anyone tell me if using microbore hose will use alot less water than conventional. I only have a 300L tank and am running out of water most days now. with summertime approaching I need a solution that doesn't involve a new van or tank!! thanks all.

I have found no difference in the amount of water that I use, but I do have my water at full pressure.
You could try a flow control device which does save water or you could take a DI tank with you and fill up from some of your customers houses while you are cleaning them, always ask first, if they are not on a meter, most will agree.

Buy an automatic brush head from peter fogwil, that way you can turn the water off between windows.

thanks for the replies, that new auto brush looks well good, much better than the first if you ask me.
going back to the microbore, if it doesn't make your water last can anyone tell me the advantages over standard hose?
thanks again

Micro bore is easier to handle, you can get more on your reel, you can flick it over obtacles, much lighter to drag around as it only has half the weight of water in it. One could go on and on. Nobody ever seems to go back to ordinary stuff once they swap. DAI

I agree with everthing Dai said, I have only had mine two days it's brilliant, I will never go back!
