Thanks you are a star

Gardiners do the Lurmark ones too. They are pretty good, bit bulky for the latest brushes.

Where can I buy brass fan jets.
the blue fan jets is best in my opinion
-
Just ordered 3 pairs from the Cleaning Spot.
-
Slumpy how much did you pay for the fans , and also what are they like compared to gardiners fans .
-
those brass fan jets are total and utter rubbish they do not spray anywhere near as good as Lumark jets or Gardiners
you'll just get a horrid random spray
Darran

Gardeners fans do not work well at all . Cleaning Spot have 2. A cheap 2 quid and a 5 quid one I have ordered both so will report back when I get them.I could thinks a 2quid a per will be craps

i 2nd that :(

I don`t think Gardeners were high pressure jet, just is design gone wrong.you would need about 150 psi pump to drive them.No windy uses a pump that powerful.
-
Not trying to sound nasty about the subject but if i was the company waiting for the fan jets to be made i would have changed suppliers by now, if i kept my
customers waiting this long i would have been sent packing by now. Sorry to say it gardiners but i think it was time you kicked some butt and also pull your finger out >:( >:(

Slumpy have you got your brass fans yet if so what they like
-
Delivery a little slow Mate, still waiting. I will tell you guy if they are crap on not. ;D ;D

Hi Mate - the normal 'brass' jets were from cleaning spot - when you say 'blue' these come from lumark and several
people supply them.
Slumpy are you sure you were using the gardiners fan jets correctly ?

We do now have a delivery date for the wide fanjets and I am happy to confirm that the wide fanjets are spot-on having tested the pre-production items yesterday - http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/Super-Lite--High-Flow-Narrow-Fan-Jets-per-Pair-FAN_JETS_RED.html
Unfortunately for us having the narrow fanjets made was relatively easy but switching from milling to moulding to improve strength was easier said than done on the wider fanjet pattern. All is resolved now though.

You would be surprised how many of our clients like the narrow fanjet pattern (1-2cm) they produce under standard pressure. We have clients trying them and coming back for more.
However for the majority the wider pattern is what is required.

I have been 'kicking' and now miraculously have exactly what was designed & requested sitting on my desk and working perfectly in testing! I ask myself why it was so difficult.

The ones you have bought are the Lurmark ones which are excellent fanjets.
However the Super-Lite fanjets are virtually weightless by comparison and fit easily into any Super-Lite brush without any need for drilling - they simply push-fit into the jet holes.
-
oh ok, well like i said i am happy enough with Lurmark so i will stick with what i have got for now... also thanks for the Gardiner pen which is handy cos i am always losing my pens

Looking forward to use the new fan jet Alex, i think i was one of the 1st who mentioned the fault to your office ;)

ok daft question maybe, long time since I used fan jets but I did prefer them, I see the description says low pressure jets, so if I use a high flow rate they will still be fine yes :-\ I am not keen on low flow rates

The new ones are 'wide' fanjets and will have a wide fan pattern under most flow rates (high or low). Generally wide fanjets do use less water so they are described as 'low flow-rate'.

I am not getting it, I want lots of water flowing fast, what jets would be best, the ones I used was on peters auto brush if that helps, in fact thinking about it I don't suppose it matters as I rinse on the glass so any jet would do I think, though I am sure I used more water with fans than pencil and I am ok with using more water

If you rinse on then wide fans are probably best suited to you although I personally like the curtain effect that you can get with a pencil jet.

These fanjets do not drip but they provide a good fine spray down to a fairly low rate.
Pop up and have a look when you're next passing.
-
sod it I am sticking to pencil I don't get any problems now so why change ;D
-
I tried spraying Hypo out of some old fogwell jets and nearly blinded myself with the drips in my eyes
-
No PPE naughty :o :'(
-
Small.
It was at home when I was experimenting for private use
I try to be perfect but sometimes, we live and learn, I certainly won't forget the goggles next time

Yes we will be swapping these for any client that has purchased the previous version but would prefer a wider fanjet.
We will not be requiring the previous ones back as once they are used we cannot sell them again.
When they arrive in stock our staff will be contacting the few clients that are waiting on a swap over.
-
Thanks Alex thats service
-
Phoned CLEANING SPOT to inquire about my fan jet order not coming. Was told the order was canceled". Not by me ". Answer " we think we had a problem with your card." "Why did you not phone me." " Sorry we did not have your number". Another unhappy customer lost for business. He did not even ask if I would still want them. CRAP SERVICE AGAIN.

Why not post them off to facelift for them to invent, they would only have to change the length
Sorry Mike, Mr. Fox
