How did you create the "area covered" line on your web map, please?

Been looking how to do that for a while but getting nowhere: yours is the first I've seen like that.

Google maps

Click on my places

then

Click on create a map

Me done it with word press it's not quite finished yet need to sort out the home page and a few other bits  :) :)
