Title: flexible 2inch hose
Post by: Luc on October 27, 2012, 11:21:31 am
Can anyone recommend where I can get some flexible lightweight 2inch hose for  use with a tm. I have some orange stuff from hydramaster but find it a bit to stiff  when  using it in people's homes .

Just have a short 1.5" whip with an 1.5" wand.

I have sold nearly all my blue TM hose and purchased a more light weight and flexible type from
http://www.worldofclean.co.uk/
Like you i hate using the more rigid stuff as it can damage walls and furniture... i use the grey flexi hoses with my Jag and Prowler

Luc don't bother, you will regret it.  Truckmount hose is made to a specification... to avoid pinching up under the vacuum loads generated by a TM !!!!!!!

I bought a length of the "flexible" hose mentioned above and my TM ate it for breakfast.  It was fkin useless.

If you're running a 2" wand you just have to get used to it, it really isn't that big a deal, you just come to terms with it.  However in tight spaces I still use my 1.5" wand with 5ft of whip line, admittedly there are some parts of jobs you just couldn't do with the 2" hose straight on to the 2" wand.

By the way if you haven't already done so, get yourself upgraded to cool cuffs.  Get your little whip line fitted with a 1.5" swivel cuff on the tool end and 1.5" to 2" step-down cool cuff at the other end and you're sorted ;)
