Title: Public liabilty insurance what do i need
Post by: Erithwc on October 25, 2012, 08:25:08 am
I already have PL insurance with axa but to be honest i don't think its worth the paper its written on for £6.58 per month  :(

So im in the market for a new comprehensive policy for both residential work ladders, wfp, conservatories & gutters ect plus commercial window cleaning maybe floor buffing as well.

What level of cover would i need and what do i need to make sure is included  ??? ???

I think for commercial i need 5 million cover but im not sure  ??? ???

Thanks Paul

Plus can anyone give me a rough price of what they pay for similar cover  ;D ;D

hi mate I'm with gleaming ins, I have 2 million liability and am also covered for floors, carpets ,gutters, solar panels, con roofs and ladder work and I pay £16 per month, I have a few commercials and as yet not been asked for a 5 million liability,if I was it would only take a phone call and they email you your certificate, I also pay them extra for tools in van insurance

I'm with gleaming as well
£16 per month and its rolling contract so no need to worry about renewal
If you read the small print they are one of the only companies to cover you for the glass you are actually cleaning
I have 2 million cover and this has always been enough even with some massive industrials
