Title: water proof jacket

anyone come up with a good one, mine had a thorough testing the other day and leaked on the seams disapointing because it looked the part,cheers for any replies.

i currently wear a short goretex NORTH FACE jacket over my fleece.its fantastic even in heavy rain and dries out very quickly.highly recommended.i look cool in it as well!! 8) 8) ;D ;D ;D

Whatever waterproof jacket you buy irrespective of price, will need to be treated with a spray or solution added when washed to waterproof it again. Depending on how much you wear it, the jacket should stay waterproof for 2-3 years before it needs treating.

Most things Gortex are really waterproof, trouble is the cost, normally very expensive.
