Title: FAO AVO .... Gutter vac poles ...
Post by: Wc Solutions on October 23, 2012, 05:47:41 pm
Hi ya mate,

So have the poles come?

Def fit a clarke vac?

Marks out of ten?

Love the look of the bag! Metal poles make a right of the van without a bag!

I'm hoping to get these and speed up even more of the gutter jobs! Can make some good money per day doing gutters with a vac but after 3 or 4 jobs your knackered using the metal poles ....

The bags great to be fair my van is lined with grey carpet so well happy not getting sludge everywhere..
The poles are very light and fit snug they go up fast and can very quickly add a section on or off..
Don't like the plastic end tools feel a bit cheap if I'm honest but ain't no big deal and you can buy replacement nozzles at ash eg straight alloy 45mm x 300mm for around £5, also I'd suggest maybe 90 degree elbow for over deep extensions too.

I too am used to using metal beasts and the difference is madness while working,
the metals ones feel well planted when working and I almost drive them through the sticky sludge and stubborn weed and you can get away with a 1400w with this pole setup.. Now I'm using a lighter balance pole set I already feel I need a bigger vac to beat the weed.

1 year too, i spoke to EST, their poles weight 900 grammes for 2 metres, too long and too heavy!

i would like to buy the poles from grippavac but their vacuum is too expensive!
