lol probably... feel am asking too much so people are leaving it to someone else to ansa lol ::)
-
Use search on this site, there is so much info in here................ ;)
-
We was all in the same boat.
But we have shared experiences good and bad and have all learned from each other, thats the best thing about this forum.
There are lots of members, some more sucessful than others with larger companies and there are people like myself one man band ops.
The main thing is stick with it dont give up. Theres plenty of work out there you just have to find it.
But dont try to do too much too soon.

As i advised before master one thing at a time, your posts look like your trying to do a bit of everything which IMO means your not really serious about your business venture
-
hi,yes i am serious but i am asking so much and taking notes to gain the information, then will decide which route to take, thats all.....i get told to use lance only for driveways ,patios.then get told opposite ,,i understand its preference and personal choice and the best tools for each particular job ,then i may get advised to get min 200bar...only to find professionals using 140,,but i suppose a 140 hot is as good as 200 cold,,,,see lots for me to take in...yes i am very serious....just doing my research, surely that can only be a good thing, but i really do appreciate all you guys taking the time to help.
thanks.

I am in the same boat as you gazza just trying to get off the ground. Pump, lances and rotary etc coming tomorrow. Pick van up next week. This is a great place for learning and getting advice. Hopefully we will be out there squirting water about like pro's.
Been delivering flyers myself over the past couple of weeks, hands were numb setting off but once i got going i had to remove the wooly hat and got a fair sweat on.
Good luck all!

HI CHRIS, HOPE IT DOES WELL FOR YOU. ITS HARD TO BEGIN WITH EH? WHAT MACHINE DID YOU GET.
GAZZA.

Hi Gazza I bought a Honda 13hp CAT pump. Been blasting everything clean around the house today and I am well impressed. It is cold water only but has done some awesome cleaning today. Trickiest bit I have to deal with is a lot of moss on tarmac, trying to get it off today with just water was not working as it blows holes in the tarmac so i am going to put some acid on and rinse with a lot less pressure. Got a big deck going green also and i am looking for the best way of cleaning it without damaging it.
-
Dont use acid on tarmac as it affects the binding agents.
I use a fan jet on tarmac and it works fine.
-
hi .sounds tricky stuff, maybe thats where the hot water comes in i dont know,, yet. ??? is there a big diff in the 5hp and the one you have , cos i thihk im ordering the 5hp.
gazza.
-
Both my machines are Honda powered 5.5 hp.
-
hi why don't you use a mosskiller to kill the moss first and then use the fan nozzle to clean the drive
-
Yeah that is my intention - moss killer then blow away gently with fan.
Gazza, I have not used the 5hp machines. I bought the 13hp as it had higher pressure output and I am hoping it will cope with the work load for longer.
