I think Brodex had the Gardiners SLX on offer last week ?
-
Argos ;D

Just picked one up in Aldi on todays special ... had to fight a granny for the last one though. Did wonder why she wanted a 25ft one... she looked 90+ ;D

i didn't know sorry but i am sure it is better to buy directly from gardiner, the customer service is excellent! ;)

thanks for the advice (and the sarcasm lol) :P. yeah as MWC say's surecleansystems.com sell them - which i had already found - which is why i asked incase anyone else sells them too. in fact a lot of manufacturer/sellers sell things more expensively direct from their own website than their distributors sell them for - just not gardiners by the looks of things.
while i've got all your attention, i was going to get a gardiners clx18 for general 2 storey cleaning and a clx27 for 3 storey work, i'm on a fairly tight budget, does that sound like a good choice or has anyone got any better suggestions for that sort of money?
thanks in advance

one of my first poles over 2 years ago was a 27ft clx still used daily and still in good condition ... does 100% of my round.
Save your money and just buy the 27ft clx or if you can buy 2 clx then just go in for 25ft SLX as that will do 3 story work no problem

why???? you can use the slx25 for con roofs too! buy another brush for conny or gutters cleaning but 1 pole is enough!

So he can look after his investment in the dearer pole etc ... You can do a fair bit of damage to a pole if not careful when cleaning con roofs etc ... And it's handy having a spare pole!
-

hi i currently use one of those telescopic brushes that you wash cars with for conservatories but water pes out of it all over the place. so i'll use my old fibreglass pole for that instead and get a hozelock connector too like you suggest as well.

I would just buy a slx 25 and get a few different brushes it will cover most of your work ;)

yeah i've just ordered the slx25, can't wait to try it out. i see that you can add a sections to it to make it longer so if i do get jobs that needs a bit more length i'll just buy another section or two.
