Im sure someone on here said a while back that orion pro should be able to take hot water.
I have now been through 3 pump o-rings. They last for a few jobs and then begin to disintegrate, seazing the pump up.
It has only started happening since I started using hot water for pre-spray (tap hot)
Cleansmart said that this is a normal problem - orion can not take heat.
Is there a way round this? The rubber o-rings are very expensive at £7ish a pop if I remember rightly.

Out of interest... are you using silicone lube when replacing the orings? if you dont they will keep failing as they need to have special lubrication.
I had the same problem in the plunger, it kept chewing up orings until i used silicone lube...

Ask Jim Neal, I heard after his night at the hotel in north wales before the TACCA day, he is now a master of Lube, and has a huge selection!

I agree... using the wrong lube can allow certain rubbers to perish when friction is involved... :o

Ah ok i will get me some silicone lube. Thanks :)
