Change it for a brass one that's what I did. Make sure the fitting is slightly bigger than the hose and heat hose up first. Now it struggles to come off !! :)
-
Good tip where did u get the brass 1 and any size tip please
-
Not sure where you are but we use a place called hypose near us they have a website. I think the size is around 6mm so only 1mm bigger than hose so it's a nice snug fit :)

i really think the t pieces on the gardiner brushes are not very good.i use the much tougher Y pieces from pure freedom that i ordered a while ago.i never have a problem now.MUCH MORE DURABLE AND A TIGHT FIT!! ;D ;D ;D

i really think the t pieces on the gardiner brushes are not very good.
Unfortunately found the same - they are really thin and weak at the joint and break really easy.
I am using T connectors from our local Aquarium shop got me out of a fix in a hurry! ;D

I can honestly say i have never had one come off ???
-
All that extra weight on the end of the pole :(
-
This is strange - I work with these all the time and have never had one pop off in use or break in any way.
If one breaks in standard use then please feel free to contact us and we can arrange a replacement.
If the hose is popping off the barb then it may be worth cutting the last 1 or 2 cm off the pole hose and fitting it afresh over the barb - this should provide a fresh connection which will prove more durable.
-
Does anyone on here clean windows the traditional way :)

hi alex i have cut it before and it did it again but i might have to re cut it to stop it doing it again untill the brass 1 turns up.
My other pole did the same and it snapped altogether but i had a spare 1 .
The brass might weigh more but defo be stronger.
Find out when i get a new 1

We have a trad on our forum :o
We have to convert him before he falls off his ladders and breaks his neck ;D
-
Good tip when you heat the pipe in hot water to fit it, before its cold I use a small tie wire to secure the hose on the fittings. I have even use these to fasten taps and retus fitting on.

I do have a WCW backpack but most houses I tend to clean are two storey houses so I don't see the point cleaning the windows with a pole when you can do it usin the ladder instead. For me WFP is good for unreachable windows like 3 or 4 storey houses but I find traditional window cleaning clean the windows better than WFP does.
-
All that sticky soap residue ;D
-
One needs to understand the principal of W F P its a total different concept to trad. One needs to go back to view your wfp work`s results to appreciate how good it is and the plus is it will say cleaner longer and W F Polers need to sell that big time. When you leave a trad house it does look good but by next week the tables turn.
