Post by: evo on October 17, 2012, 04:16:57 pm
Hi guys have any off you tried one of theses magic sponges. i was given one on saturday to try and thought the guy was on drugs when he told me how good it was so i put it to the test today.

first house kick marks all over the front door got the sponge out and got rid of them all. second house window cills were covered in spider blood marks got the sponge out again and was amazed how clean they were after.

i even tried it on the van door where there was a scrub mark guess what even got rid of that to so just ordered me another 10 and going to save some money in viro-sol now. heres the link if anybodys interested

that i don't know yet but the guy gave me a cut of his which was about 3"x 3" and i have used it on 4 houses and its still the same so time will tell but at that price even if you get though lets say 10 in a year that's still cheaper than vir-sol and you could make your money back in no time.

After buying some from ebay Told my wife about these magic sponges - she then told me  " I have got some off them " were from I asked " pound land!" Then showed me the box, Busy Bear sponge eraser. EXACTLY THE SAME PRODUCT but in a block that you cut to size  >:(

I had a couple of these 'magic' sponges  in the shed, which after reading this thread, gave them another try.

I bought a few from poundland a year or so ago.  They do work on certain marks and If I used them on every job one sponge was lasting a day or so.

Anyway to replenish my stock, I bought 60 of them from eBay last week and they arrived quickly - and they do work as well but barely last two houses - absolutely crap!

Back to poundland methinks >:(

I wonder what these Magica spongs would be like used with Cillit Bang. The 'advertising' is very similar.
