Title: Wfp and windy days
Post by: Dan crowther on October 16, 2012, 07:09:00 pm
I clean wfp and traditional. Today I was going to do wfp all day as it was a bit too gusty for the ladders where I am. Did a large house first, big conservatory. While cleaning it I was thinking that this is great as I probably wouldn't have bothered going out in the wind when I was just trad. When finished I put my gear away and put the slip through and then went along all the sills with a cloth (fussy customer) and saw that all the windows looked like they hadn't been rinsed, within just a few mins lots of dust or bits of something had stuck to the wet windows. I had to go around them all with the squeegee otherwise I would think they would have spotted badly.
I can't think I've done a check like this for ages so, although I haven't previously had any complaints, it makes me wonder...is wfp not for windy days same as ladders aren't?

i made a point of checking some of my work today when they dried and they came up perfect!it was very windy as well!!the ground was wet though due to some heavy showers so i think that played a part.

i have tried to clean windows wfp on windy dry days and they were a nightmare!!had to pack up and go home!!not today though!! ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D
