Title: WTF are these creatures?

The house looked reasonably clean.  Customer pointed out these creatures to me.  Apparently they scamper away when the light is turned on.  I only saw a few... 

The customer said they'd had a pest controller around and he'd said they were nothing to worry about.

I may be wrong, but they look like 'roaches to me:

Should I be worried about bringing them home?

Sounds like hide beetles. Harmless but not very nice to find them in your kitchen, bait should sort the critters out. Wouldn't be worried about taking them home.

I'd be worried if you put a can of coke next to them for scale.

OMG these things are disgusting ... I don't think that you should bring them anywhere, especially to your home.
