Title: bad weather
Post by: john63. on October 16, 2012, 03:37:09 pm
Been window cleaning nearly 2 years now, been surprised how much you can earn on a good weather day but its the bad weather days that hack me off.
yes i work through a bit of drizzle and dodge the showers by sitting in car but when it rains all day and windy too its no good and you get a lot of days like this.
the freedom and flexibility is good but i prefer getting up and doing a days work 5 days a week would prefer a part time job and part time window cleaning but the part time jobs with flexible hours are hard to find.
just wondered all you long time window cleaners does it get better or do you all suffer bad days.

its not very often that the weather is unworkable,  the worst possible day where window cleaning is a no no i do jobs where people are out.

since i went WFP 2 and half years ago i find window cleaning to be much easier to work in bad weather.also good goretex waterproof gear works wonders!!

i also make sure that i have a good healthy emergency fund built up throughout the year so when the weather becomes impossible to work in im covered! ;) ;D ;D ;D

i spent 16 years trad in all weathers!glad them days are over!! :D :D ;D ;D ;D ;D

best wishes
