Title: Made this today all in for £27.50

It's a 12v flow controller with wireless on/off built in. What do ya think?

Yes it works, it is a maplins 5amp. I tested it with a Shurflo and it worked, I though the draw might be too much. I will only be using it with a 2am from John Hewit so it should be fine with that.

I've experimented with a remote unit like that & found the range wasn't enough for a van mount,.. ok for a backpack/trolley though.

It's kinda still in development. Will know better after tomorrow how well it works.

It looks the business.

I've been using an identical one for a couple of years rated at 5amps with a shurflo pump. Never had any problems.



I've experimented with a remote unit like that & found the range wasn't enough for a van mount,.. ok for a backpack/trolley though.

Same here. The biggest problem seemed to be the van itself as it's metal.

I ended up putting the receiver on the roof and it worked much better over a longer distance. Still wouldn't work when I was the round the other side of a house though.
