I have £3k to spend on a van.
What's best most reliable and suitable for WFP system ?
So many choices. Want side door, ok for taking weight of a tank and pulls well. Also need space to carry vac or portable pressure washer when required
-
Transit Connect LWB High Roof.
We have had one over a year now, and aside from routine tyres, brakes and services, it's been superb.
Has a 500l upright system.

Last of the old shape Scudo/Pug/Citroen - 56/07 plate. 900kg payload - 3 seats.

I would say Combo but correct answer is none of the above suggested or maybe one of the above.
Best van for £3000 is as follows
1 or 2 owners
Some or all service history
Long or new MOT
Tidy on the body / interior
HPI clear
-
Toyota Hiace

hope they ll be some help . tacky

it doesnt matter what van anyone says, they all have their fans and critics. I would suggest you find a van with as much service history as you can find, and one with a main dealer not too far away that you like and then ask the question about that van

I've got a little SWB standard roof Connect. Great van and I can get everything in, including telescopic ladders...just. I wouldn't mind three seats in the front so I'm thinking of a Toyota Hiace (bullet proof), but we'll see.

the toyotas are a good van, never break down and so over engineered, a really good choice

Bit small that can't get a decent sized tank in there.

i have a 350l tank in it, could of fitted a 400l or even a 500l, its a bit on the small side for 2 operators but is perfect for 1
in response to the OP, its reliable has never let me down and i've spent nothing on it apart from a service, pulls like an absolute train 135bhp, has twin side doors, handles weight really well, and you could fit a gutter vac inside as well.
I've used a transit connect t230, vauxhall combo, kangoo and a doblo all for wfp work and the doblo is defo the best
