Title: Website for sale. Bournemouth / Southampton Area
Post by: Carpet Dawg on October 12, 2012, 05:05:12 pm
http://www.cleaningprobournemouth.co.uk

Due to non payment from a member on here after two years.... I can now offer this site for sale.

Sale includes:

1. Two year old website. *
2. Two year old domain name. *
3. Free hosting for a year. (Might as well have it, I've already paid for it twice along with the domain name!  :D)
4. All new site created with your details and photos!!

* Aged websites are favoured in Google.

Would suite anyone based in or around bournemouth and southampton areas. Carpet cleaning or/and window cleaning or general cleaning etc. The domain name was was choosen by me to give wider scope than jusr one service.

The site was No1 in Google for several keywords for the best part of 2 years. Bringing in quite a few jobs per week to the previous owner.

But since the Panda and Penguin updates and (more importantly) not once updated with content or backlinks/social media etc The site has been pushed down a few pages in Google.

I am 99% confident with a bit of effort we can have it back in the top three of Google. I can either do this for an extra few ££ or I will write you a document stating exactly what to do to get back on top.

Furthermore, The site has not been submitted to Google places or any of the citation websites i.e. freeindex, yelp, qype etc etc. I have a huge list of sites to submit to! This alone will get you in to the top local search.

If you have any further question you can either email me at orderemail2003@yahoo.co.uk or call me at 07835 627 741.

Hi Dan, Thanks for your intrest but its sold i'm afraid.

I own the site, Jason hadn't paid for it but some how thought it was ok to sell it for a £500 mark up  :) in the process ripping someone off as he wouldn't be be able to forward the login details or domain name.

Hold on a minute , this website is not the one that brings in work , I delivered an airmover , FREE to you in EDINBURGH  that I bought, and you agreed that was fine as payment  at that point.

I have never had an invoice despite asking several times for one .

I was selling 2 sites , the other one , which Gary J will confirm is all paid for and that is the one which gets most work .

The website does not cover Southampton , a town 30 miles from Bournemouth.

In the past 18 months there have been exactly Zero email enquiries from this site , compared to 2-3 a day from my Sheffield site.

Also I do not need £500 QUID THAT BAD, it was a token payment only, the other site is the money generator!! Who ever bought this has been mugged.

Too tired to type out another reply:

I done you a favour! I hepled you out when you first moved to Bournemouth, you where struggling for work and I created a website for you which brought in work? Am I not correct? You said so many times, you where very greatful. I got the site to No1 in google in about 2 weeks. You always said you'd pay me and dont call me a lier on that one!! I never pushed you for payment as I felt I felt bad for you, having to do all that crap with groupon to get work in etc.

You never had an email enquire because I never had the emails divert to you :) they came to me.

Jason you really are a con man my friend. Two months ago, just before you made that post in the for sale section you called me out if the blue asking please put the site back up! Do you remember that? Or are you going to lie about that aswell?

You said "yeah, I still need to pay you for that i've not forgoten mate etc" As soon as the site was up, you put an advert on here stating it was for sale for £500! Thats not a problem for me at all but when you dont pay me!

Since that last phone call you have not replied to three texts messages asking for payment. You send give me your bank details, I did and nothing in my account...

And pelase expalin to me what would have happend if some poor bugger would have bought the bournemouth site, what would they get for thier £500?? A website? the website files? the domain name?

Please dont make your self look silly Jason.

p.s. that airmover lasted about 3 jobs.

I've done a website for Jason and was paid on time.

I think this is more to do with miscommunication then anything more sinister.

Put the popcorn away Jim.

I don't think thats true, although I guess your joking with the smileys! But for other peoples interest:

'Images found on the internet can be downloaded to your computer for your “personal viewing” and to do anything more than that can be tantamount to theft. Whether there is a copyright claim on the images found at someone else’s website is immaterial because, if they are not yours, you have no right to use them except for your own viewing pleasure. A copyright claim merely serves to give you an additional warning.'

But hey, I could be wrong.

The moment original content is published, it is automatically copyrighted.

If someone chooses to steal it, they leave themselves open to action.

If you allow others to embed a video on their site (as per using Youtube embed code), then you are assumed to have given consent. If they just take it then it's stolen and is an infringement of copyright.

The Facebook user above has clearly stolen the images. Maybe they need reporting?

Look up Getty Images taking legal action against companies. Many companies were made to pay substantial damages.

Also I do not need £500 QUID THAT BAD,

It will come in handy so you can pay me the £610 that you owe me and have done now for over a year and a half. It's time to pay up Jason. I did the work and you were more than happy with it. I am back up in Chesterfield now... so not to far from you... when shall I come round for it?

How hard is it to do your own before and afters with camera phones. Don't be a lazy ass and have some confidence in your own abilities.  ;)

The images will be removed soon, the whole site will be changed.

Yes, content was supplied to me. The site was put together in about 3 hours if that (if you hadn't guessed!) but did the job and did it very well for the best part of a year and half. I was certinaly not going to maintain it or the off-site seo for free. I'm too lazy to update my own carpet cleaning one!

What happend to my other post by the way??  ;D

I Paid good money to a profestional photographer to take those images
there not quick snaps of a camara. Why should I pay out money to have
somebody use them for free

I understand your position , but it's common knowledge that they will be used by other people so you need to watermark them and protect them . As to take someone to court would be a waste of time and money .
Sometimes you just have to except it as one of the hazards or your going to fall out with a lot of people and cause yourself a lot of grief .

Ps this forum has turned into a circus no one helps anymore the best bit of help I have ever had came years ago Martin Riley took me out , mike Halliday let me use a leaflet design and Jason lawel showed me lm , Colin day took me to jobs and fixed my machine that was the good old days when cc helped instead of moaning there all frightenend someone is doing better than them

It's not all bad Neil...

I have shown Simon how I work, offered several others the same, I have done work for a cleaner on here who couldn't get to a job..

And even been on a ship doing a job for Capt Pugwash..

So there are some good people on here, just a few muppets who try to spoil it for the rest...

There is a lot of banter though, and most of it is good taste and humour, however there are still the muppets who try to spoil it..
