Getting fed up of the gardiners yellow standard hose on their poles, they are getting harder and less flexible in the cold weather, can anyone recomend a more reliable softer more flexible to use in the coming winter weather . 6m and 8 m, i keep forgetting what size i have. cheers. WINTER bring it on :'( :'( :'(

how old is your gardiner pole hose?
-
I have the same issues with the gardiners yellow hose.... and i told them 2 weeks ago when i ordered a new pole.....i said the last lot i throw in the bin.... but they assured me it had been looked at and is now softer.
its not, and today it was cold , and the hose was stiff as a board.
i hate paying for anything that does not work properly
!
seen some clear stuff on ebay.... around £15 for 30 metres.

sad really cos every one complained about the old soft hose so he changed to this new stuff - which i've never tried- cos my old soft stuff is still going strong after over a years use. all day every day, god knows what other people were doing with it to knacker it so easy

Streamline lite-5 never used anything else it is a double layered hose and works great . Mike

when i said cold 2day that was @ 8am, turned out nice again around 10am, pole hose 1 year old, great in summer warms with the heat makes it soft, cold it kinks and twists..

I have three poles with Gardiner hose - the latest stuff bought in the last month is much more supple than the last stuff I got.
I will replace the older pole hose today as the difference is marked.

Buy some aqua-daptor pole hose.you won't regret it.in fact ill be replacing my supermax polehose as I just don't like it.its too soft and the hose tap just keeps leaking.

red or orange?
-
i use a red one supplied by xline in nottingham, its strong doesn`t get in a mess , doesn`t split and takes the water at high temps
-
bob i find the red or orange hose good.i cant tell the difference between the two!i have red on CLX and orange on my SLX.both are very hard wearing and easy to manage. ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D

red or orange?
If you're going to kink the hose, the orange is more suitable. Dazmond may have some of the translucent red that we supplied for a short time before switching to orange, so it's pretty much the same, but the new dark red hose is stiffer, lower stretch and more suitable for hot water systems.

do you have a link to your orange hose Paul ?
my email address is design@windowwashers.co.uk
I would like to test some out, as pole hose is a real pain in time cost.
I got to see an aquadapter at QCF training a few weeks back looked rather smart, still not used one.
cheers

I've started using the Aquadapter red pole hose as my main hose and it's really good. Much lighter, easier to manage and still tough. Oddly I still use Gardiners pole hose but I may change that soon.
