Hi All,
I cleaned a couple of first cleans today in heavy rain.
Both customers were in, and both commented on how great the windows looked after I had finished...
I think the old stigma of "you can't clean windows in the rain" is slowly going away - I haven't had any customers not wanting their windows cleaned in the rain for a few years now.
What do you think?
Andy
PS. I got home and checked my bank account and both customers had paid via bank transfer already! More customers like that please! ;)

I just say to customers:
We clean in all rain, if it is pouring down please feel sorry for my guys, they laugh message made.
The stigma will always be there as people make up bs not to work in the rain, where we and many use it as a positive advantage ;D

I love doing 1st cleans in the rain ... heavier the better.
Chances are the windows / frames are minging and not been cleaned in months or even years so more water on em the better.
Prob so bad to start with EVEN if the rain does effect the finish (which it dont) the end result will be a 100% improvement on before.
Also educates your new customer that rain is not a problem to the end result.

are we talking wfp in the rain or trad???
i would say wfp should be fine as you are only using water and leaving them wet anyway - trad is a bit more difficult (for me anyway) when its peeing it down - some custys dont like it. In saying that you would get nothing done if you wait for our levely weather to appear ;D
