the first job was an office, i had cleaned next door but was never happy doing it off a ladder, so i advised the caller he needed to have it done by some one using wfp and recommended another window cleaner that i had met, there are very few window cleaners locally that use wfp.
the second person stopped his car to talk to me whilst i was working off my ladder, he commented that he hadn't seen a window cleaner in the street for a while and would i clean his house, i declined as i had previously cleaned his house several years ago but he decided to get some one cheaper, i told him this, he looked puzzled but i went on to tell him which house he owned and the fact that he was a traffic cop, he just shrugged his shoulders and walked off , he didn't have a clue that we had met before, maybe instead of refusing to do it i should have given an inflated price to clean his windows.

Now you will have to watch your back. Bets which will be the next copper to pull you over.

I would have done it for him, why turn down his money (unless he was a bad payer in the past?)
Just price it up to suit yourself ie normal plus a bit more and see hwat he says, if he says no the nothing lost - silly to give it to someone else unless you dont like the bloke

i thought of that after i spoke to him but i have so much work , running 3/4 weeks behind , i shouldn't take any more work on.
