Will be buying a big pole before too long and have been looking at the 2 poles mentioned in the posting title.
Not sure if Im missing something ??
Facelift One 55 feet £1495+vat weighing in at 5.47KG but includes brush weight
Gardiners SL47 + 1 extension total of 57 feet £1118 +vat inc SL Extreme wide brush weighing in at 3.03KG inc brush.
£377 +vat difference plus over 2 kilos heavier ???
This is not a pro Gardiners post or an anti Facelift post just cant see what Im missing ???

if your going to richys van fest bring it over so i can have a feel of your pole too :D

Are they both made from the same material?
-
isnt the sl pole a modular where the facelift is telescopic
im not sure what facelift is not seen it but suppose less engineering to modular poles
-
yes the facelift is telescopic and hi modulus carbon like the gardiners extreme the extra weight will be the
clamps etc...
i use the SL2 on a regular basis to 50 ft and it's a dream to use - the time difference in setting up is insignificant
compared to using a lighter pole at 50 ft up.

The SLX-47 extreme is lighter in part because it's tubes are thinner and only wider at the clamping points - you clamp on at middle and ends only. Plus an extra clamping point on bottom section for even finer adjustment.
And you can add extensions.
It works very well in practice.

No, that's the Xtreme.
