Is number 1 in this picture the Butler tool Mike recently said he had?

yes. use it on all suites for the cushions and big areas, then finish of the intricate bits with a cfr.
i have adapted mine by drilling 2 holes at each end to catch any over spray leaking out the sides

Looks like a prochem upholstery tool.

Cheers, i'll email him for a price, Yes Shaun they look like they could be the same, I just get a bit fed up with the CFR on some fabrics, I have an internal detail uph tool which is good but a bit slow.

Yep one and the same hand tool. Ok for giving a itof welly but you do get over spray. Mine does not get used very often

Got my Drimaster2 fixed by Hydramaster last week. Gave it a bit of a road test on a nice easy acrylic velour suite... which reminded me how hot it gets :o oops
