GEORGE doesn't only work on a weekly duration.
You have options of whichever duration you want. Most of my work is monthly or bi-monthly but I also have a couple fortnightly and some 6 weekly.

so i could do for example
dorset 1st week
devon 2nd week
somerset 3rd week
hampshire 4th week
because what i have found is if i put dorset in every 4 weeks after a period of time dorset might me on the 4th week i hope i make sense

Well i've only used GEORGE myself. But there are a few scheduling programmes available.
GEORGE gives you a free trial so if you wanted you could try it to see if it does what you want it to.

George gives you the option to schedule your jobs either by the number of days/weeks or monthly, from the way your post reads to me I think you want to set it up monthly, ie weeks 1-4 then any days left that month are idle/not worked, then following month weeks 1-4 are worked, and the cycle continues.
-
They way I read it is you clean each area every 4 weeks , so why over complicate it you know when you are due in each area so input the details into which ever program you choose (Aworka) then it will auto plan everytime you are due ,
I think you are over thinking it mate , Mike
