Title: Someone nicked my ladders!
Post by: Richy L on October 08, 2012, 04:31:13 pm
Someone nicked my ladders last night to nick some lead from a roof on building nearby.
They left the ladders at the site so the police had them. I'll get them back after they dust for prints.

Sorry to here that mate! Ladder clamps have a hole through them so you can use a padlock! if im anywhere dodgy i make sure the padlock is on

However, thats easy for me to say being 99% wfp. It would be a right pain in the arse using my set up for all trad work!
Its gota be bungee chords for local trad hasnt it! for easy on and off with the ladder's!

They weren't on the van. They were in the in-laws back garden behind a wooden gate and fence. Its a nice part of Chepstow, so you wouldn't expect it.
Someone must have seen them be put there and came back for them.

I have bought some padlocks now though. I have a spare set anyway so work will not be affected.
