I see it has a twist lock system instead of clamps , I am sure  they wear just as much as normal clamps as it has been discussed on here before , Mike

In the time it takes to extend, I'd have cleaned, and got back in the van!

I'm out.

Did you see the Test Drive a Pole for a week for $99 offer further down the page?
What a great idea, pitty a few pole Makers / Suppliers cant try this over here.
A superb bit of marketing, make your own mind up rather than believing some salesman and his hype!!
I'm thinking of "buying" a new pole but don't want a salesman to "sell" me what he wants me to have.

Its a glorified old OMNIPOLE! WHY OH WHY are you even considering buying one of these! GET A GRIP your only choice should be a gardiners or a new facelift! HAVE A READ THROUGH SOME OLD POSTS OR TOPICS ON HERE AND YOU WILL SOON FIND OUT WHAT THE MAJORITY OF WINDOW CLEANERS IN THE UK USE.
CAN SOMEONE LOCK THIS POST AS IT IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME IMO
 ;D ;D ;D :-X

The clamps look like they waste a lot of usable pole as they are so big, section 7 would be about 18 inches shorter than section 1.  Also I wonder how he gets 7 6ft sections equaling a 42ft pole.  There's normally a good 4-6 inches of overlap with poles so you would loose at least 3ft.  In the video it looks like he doesn't extend some sections fully which will make the pole look more rigid than it actually is.  I'd wait for a few users to start using it in the UK before buying as it's not cheap either.

Simon.

Hello
I am the manufactor of Apollo carbon poles, The pole in question is a 36" they just did a quick math a found out it must have been a 42". The clamps has this size because I want to be sure that the glue sticks.
Just about to launch a new series of poles with lighter carbon, the old 36" weighs 2,2 kilo
