Title: gutter vac users?

I am thinking of getting a gutter vac.

my question is this.....
is the gutter vac adequate to unblock the downpipes , or do you still find yourself having to get up a ladder ?
advice please

you will always need ladders at some point allthough most of the time the vac is sufficient i use a Karcher N35/1 eco with 2" vac hose and have had the ladders out twice i havbe a 3000w vac aswell but use the smaller karcher nearly everytime as alot lighter and easier to setup and put away.

just as I thought.......staaying safe as much as possible is the best option....think I will get one.... ;D
