ok - thinking about investing in a new pole / brush for the new year (hopefully in january when the sales are on) ;D ;D
I do a mix of domestic and smaller commercial work
i currently use a 27ft (which is plenty for what i have at the min).. (its not the lightest or rigid of pole and has no tbh)
so similar size... lighter... more rigid..
what would you recommend and what brush..and gooseneck maybe
thanks
paul

S L X 35 with out question. AS I found out lately. ;D ;D

Not long bought a SLX-25 which i had the intention of using for just the houses i needed it on and use the CLX-18. I have found myself using the SLX-25 on everything now.
Good thing with this pole is you can extend it bit by bit if you get higher work come in.
IT comes with a quick release goose neck with a flip fast style adapter on it. ive found the sill brush from gardiners fantastic especially at height.

I have been using a slx 25 for 2 years and it's still going strong.
Get one you won't regret it :)

The medium mixed- I cut the two outer (white) rows so that they are "just" longer than the inner (black) rows. This gives a subtle dual trim & immense scrubbing power! ;) Accuracy beyond anything else too.
All my Xtremes are reduced bristle length. ;)

The Extreme 25 pole will move faster than anything else with the same amount of exertion.
Here is a way of comparison. You have been driving a car with what appear normal brakes as you are used to them, you get in another car, apply the expected pressure required to the brake pedal to slow down and find you have nearly catapulted yourself through the front window as only a fraction of the expected pressure was required and you`ve applied too much nearly locking up the wheels.

Hi paul hope your well mate the preists parents were saying how pleased they were you cleaning the windows at newcastle .
Almost every person on here will say get an SLX , But i have an Elite 35 carbon and after 18 months of use i have no complaints at all ,
I have not had one thing go wrong it , It is a bit heavier than the slx , But the Elite offers a bit more rigidity if that is what you are used ,
As for the brush gardiners everytime mixed extreme is the brush of brushes . Mike

yep SLX 25ft pole with carbon gooseneck and extreme brush.absolute heaven for cleaning everything.windows at awkward angles are a breeze!NO aqua-daptor!i just kink the hose.
i cant imagine what the extreme 25ft pole will feel like as the above pole feels so light and rigid!!
do those of you who use an extreme pole find it hard to control when it gets a bit windy?i can just hold on to the SLX!!!haha! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I cut mine using a 4" scraper with new blade in. I slide a piece of 2mm ply board between a row of bristles at a time- to cut against & to seperate them. ;)
