Getting really irritated with aquadapter red hose on my SLX30. Occasionaly use hot, but mainly cold.
I also use a pole tap and have the loop of hose which usually isn't too much of a problem. Judt recently though i seem to be constantly undoing knots and twists. Is there a rotating fitting or a way I can stop my pole hose from twisting? Would alternative hose be better? I think the streamline hose is a good option, but the pole tap would have to go.
I find I save loads more water with the tap, but with a fixed joint, the hose twists

I am confused do you have an aqua adaptor or just the hose. If you do have an aqua adaptor why on earth do you still use a pole tap?

Sorry if I wasn't too clear-I just use the hose, not the aquadapter

Look carefully at the way you extend and collapse the pole as you might be twisting the sections as you do it.Thats what i found i was doing and could never understand why the hose was always getting twisted up.I put a John Guest close to the pole tap now as a quick way of releasing and untangling if i fall back into the habit of twisting sections and end up getting knotted up again.

Switch your hose round mate i find this works , What i mean is the end that connects to the T peice on your brush now make that the end that connects to your main hose on reel ,
Switching mine round this weekend as it is becoming a pain . Mike

Hi Steve,
Don't like to hear of any irritations!
This may help: http://blog.aqua-dapter.co.uk/2010/12/getting-your-hose-in-a-twist/
Another customer said that when he realised that he always turned around the same way (e.g. clockwise) when working, and remembered to vary which way he turned, this stopped putting twist into the hose, and he finds it stays untangled and lays flat better.
the pole tap would have to go.
Not necessarily, these

and O Clips

should enable you to use any hose?
