Anybody heard if Gardiner's have any of the low pressure fan jets in yet?
I'm getting through 500 litres of water in 3/4 of a day with these high pressure ones.
I did hear there was a "list" of windy's that they would contact once arrived, so have any of you heard?

Gardeners seems to battle to make fan jets.

Interesting. They've taken the option of having fan jets (even the 'new' [high pressure] fan jets) down from their website.
Looks like i might have to go elsewhere.....

On my own, you really have to turn the pump up to get a decent flow with the high pressure fan jets.

I have just updated the website on the link that 'Mark' has linked to showing a new anticipated delivery date of November.
I apologise for this delay - This is also causing me much frustration for what should be a very simple product!
I had what should have been the final samples delivered today with a few tweaks made that I had requested and they have not made the changes I wanted. So I am going to have to have the tooling changed again and the pre-production samples re-made. Hence the new delay.

the pressure from the old white fans were fine so why can't they copy them but make them out off the unbreakable plastic

I wish it was that simple!
The previous version was made by milling solid PTFE tube which is quite different in process to the new construction. What we have done is switched production to injection moulding which provides much stronger construction - the downside is that it is a little more tricky to get exactly the same spray pattern.
I do realise that this is trying everyone's patience.

Why cant they be made from brass like the pencil jets
Brass wont break,ive never had a brass 1 go on me?
Im sure theres a reason for doing it in plastic but the weak part is where the tube goes onto the back of it.its a very small thin tube and surely doing it out of plastic again will only give more problems ?

Good question, I will not buy the plastic ones and have gone back to the lugmark one's.

Because the head of the fanjets is on the bristle side of the brush, if they were made of brass there would be the danger of scratching the glass. This is why they are made of non-scratch plastic. The new plastic items are very strong compared with our initial versions - in standard use they cannot be broken.

Hasnt anybody thought to countersink the head of the fanjet into the brush.?

Others may do this, but it wouldn't work on our Super-Lite brush stocks, because they are light they are also very slim and would not provide enough depth for counter-sinking.

Yep i just checked the thickness of a sill brush
The only way would to make the brush slightly thicker in 2 places about the size of a 5p bit where the jets are inserted.
Saying that im sure you would have done it if it was that easy.
Im sure the costs of changing the mould of the brushes is to expensive ?
