Good tip but I just use a decent sill cloth, first.
I'm not keen on the Porcupine, though.

I was serious lol. In my first few years I used a Unger sleeve with non scratch pad on it for difficult cleans, but I just use the Ettore Porcupine glove now as it's fantastic. :

Tim,  can you email me lee@windowcleaningmagazine.co.uk    - how long would that sleeve last you ? when you count the handle, sleeve, vat, p&p you may get  505 of them sponges from wlkos and you can use them way more than once..... would that work out for you? still email me mind, need to ask you something :)

Naturally it's cheaper, does the same job, but is it faster? Not at all. Imagine having to walk back to your bucket every time you need to get your sponge. It's like you are thrown back to 100+ years a go. ;D
Even if you have it on you at all times using your applicator will be faster. Granted normal sleeves are not great for fly/spider poo, but the porcupine is great for it.

Not sure if you were serious about cost, but if you can afford a T-bar, you can afford a sleeve?!  :D
The sleeve lasts for ages, I think I used my first one for over 2 years. T-bar is pretty much a one off investment, one that you would need to make anyway when window cleaning.

Sent you an email.

In my experience, sleeves do not last that long before they become less effective. On internal windows if the mess is vast you will have to rub hard with your applicator. In my experience it takes more effort than simply using the songe I already drooped into my bucket for potential difficult areas....

Hey man, chill out will ya. You might bust a vein or something. There is no need to be rude inside this topic. This method works well for me on difficult internal windows, what else would you like me to add?  :)

Yep... thats one option. Thanks :) . I get these sponge scourers all the time.... it really is no hassle. That was my original point and these sponges are available everywhere. I bet most of us have one knocking round the house.

Its not the only option you can use, clearly......
