Hi guys,
I am a regular on the window cleaning forum but new to here so hi.
I am looking to buy a new Hydromist 35 carpet cleaning machine. I have been offered one for £1600 plus vat. That any good?
I also have a used Hydromist Super Champ for sale, parts only as the pump has packed up. Any offers or idea how much it is worth? Pick up would be in Rotherham, South Yorks.
Thanks for any help you can you provide,
Nigel

That's not a machine i would be thinking of buying, but it all depends on what type of work you are doing i suppose.
I would be looking at these machines for that kind of money -

You could buy a secondhand one on Ebay and use the rest of the dough for marketing.I bought my first machine on Ebay for £600 a few years back, i'ts an ALLTEC professional plus 135psi.You can pick up the same machine or similar on Ebay for even less now. They are very easy to fix and will do the job to a very good standard.

Hi Nigel,
I am a Truvox Distributor and as good as the Hydromist 35 is I would only recommend it for commercial work that requires extraction cleaning. Its more a machine for open areas and corridors. Most of our customers with them are hotels or care homes.
The machines suggested above are more suitable for small commercial and domestic work if thats where your business will come from..

Hi guys,
Thanks ever so much for your replies.
I am now a manager of a large commercial building and it is needed for all the communal areas etc. Sorry, I should have said.

Approximately what size area are the communals. You may be better with a low moisture maintenance system.
