don.t know if anyone has noticed this course above as part of the woolsafe courses but it offers some unique marketing possibilities, I'm thinking of doing it,
And you can guess what i will be mentioning on every quote I do ;D
how many of us have done this course? it will set the partisipent above the competition. and really make them an 'expert'
all training is good but like i said i think this course offers a very unique oppertunuty.

I must admit it does interest me I was thinking of how I could encorporate it into everyday use without being asked to mediate or being asked to look at everything and anything for customers who have a beef about a carpet that they don't like.
Mike your thoughts would be welcome on this.

the way i see it is....
the biggest problem carpet cleaners have is differentiating themselves from every other carpet cleaner out there.
EG:
you and Simon turn up at a home to give a quote.......
you both use T/ms,
you both look professional,
you both have been in business for years,
you both can talk with the knowledge of a professional
what reason has the customer got to chose either of you over the other?
its the same for every one, how can i convince a customer to choose me over another carpet cleaner who seems to be offering exactly the same service...... and to make it worse I might be more expensive :-\
this course give you another angle to come at the client from.

I see that point but what about the customer who wants you to litigate? Customers who have problems with carpets or carpet manufacturers? I'm not sure I'd want to be pulled around to a court room to offer my findings.
The title of carpet inspector is just another waffly title you could just be a 'inspector of carpets' and run a certificate off your computer.

The link shows prices and what may be expected of the title.

if they want your services then they pay for it..... I would rather be paid
£200 £40 an hour for litigating then carpet cleaning ;D
but why even advertise it, you could just drop it into conversation while doing quotes.
another aspect about attending this course is it will be more technical that you average course (which tend to be a bit basic for an established carpet cleaner) and the people who attend will be more technically proficient so the conversation will be more rewarding..... how often can you discuss the merits of F90 over Double Clean.

Shaun, that link you just posted - the comments on the blog are obviously paid for (I'll hazard a guess that they're some sort of ethnics typing the comments) - what's the point in this? Does it help SEO I wonder?
-
Hahaha, read the comments on the link Shaun posted, hilarious, of course there all from like www.vacuumsforsalehere.com just trying to get their link up so they say overly nice things! ;D
-
Sorry never read Ash's post before putting mine.
Ash they are not paid for they are SEO people in india most likely. its to help the SEO of the site they link to. waste of time really
It will most likely be damaging to Kevin Goodwin's site seo as they are poor value links.
