i need some window cleaning advice or tips. i job a job cleaning a new subway windows. the masonary guys got cement on the glass so went and bought some muratic acid to take it off with, well now there is a terriable film on it and i can't get it off !!!! can someone tell me what to do to get it off please!!!!!!!!

I've never known a brick acid to leave a film on glass before. Maybe you used a chemical cleaner that contained muriatic acid? if so , there might be something else that has caused it. If you used just brick acid, then there must be another reason for the 'film', let us know how you get on.

Subway windows? It's highly likely they're some sort of safety glass and the film could actually be a melting of the coating! I had a similar thing happen many years ago with a jewellers doorway :-[
