Bidding on his own stuff, and cancelling bids. If eBay catch him he will get booted off

Funny you should say that Paul. I just said to the missus last night that the rotary he had on there went for £285 :o :o

A lot of money for an old 15".

looking at his feeback score 0 I think it is what he does, then opens a new account for selling other stuff....

Having been bitten once... I will not buy off anyone with less than 50 feeback now...

Yep Frans, he bought that himself. Two bidders with zero feedback are him.

I am not doubting you, but how do you know the bidders are him?

Philip, both bidders are brand new and if you look at there bidding history you can see its mainly all on his stuff. This happens a lot on eBay but they are clamping down heavily too. A couple of months ago they took somebody to court for it and won, he had to pay a few thousand pounds.

I try not to buy unless I can pick it up,  I would bid on this if I lived local,  he might be being dishonest with the bidding ........but if its still a good price then why not.

I never understand why if they have a price they want to achieve they don't just put a reserve on the item

it costs more to list an item with a reserve.
