yes male and female just looked and your right female is 5.95 but that is still a good price they last for years and no leaks plus very strong

Are these connectors the same size as the rectus 21's, as its a bit difficult to judge the scale by the photos
Also, i always disconnect my pole from the main hose, after ever job, will these connectors last with the constant on/off action.
Thanks Steve

Would these handle hot water?

Hi Steve,
don't have a Rectus 21 with me to show them side by side but this shows scale: http://twitter.com/aquadapter/status/244353439633641472/photo/1

Just to temper the general euphoria.
I used these for a while last year.
They were fine for a while but...
1. The valve stopped working on two out of three of the female connectors within a handful of weeks.
2. If you accidentally step on one, it will break immediately in a way a steel one simply cannot.
I gave up and went back to EZ-snap. Cheaper and lasted longer (for me)
In passing, I do find the price for these pieces of injection-moulded plastic utterly, utterly shocking. Not aquadapter's fault, the suppliers, but barmy.

I ordered a few from aquadapter - they arrived the other day. So far I'm impressed :o
The female on the end of my microbore is almost flush with my (diy) protector ball so is out of harms way.
The last few rectus connectors I've used have started to drip after a couple of weeks, hope these are better
-
I'll always work with drips ;D

how lomg do they last?

lee so long as you use a protector ball then you should get a good 10/12 months out of the female and a good 4/6 month out of the male.
