HI,
I am only into my 4th week of wfp so some more experinced wfp may give you better advice, But I have been useing both 1/2" and 100mtr Microbore.
I love useing the m/bore compared with the 1/2", The 1/2" is heavy, Its hard to pull round all the many corners of a house, It gets snagged and caught far more.
The m/bore is very light to reel in, its far easier to pull round to the back of an house, I have never had it caught on anything yet, it is a joy to use.
It as a reduced flow rate compared to 1/2", But just good enough, thats on a 100mtr hose which I could cut down to improve flow rate or get a higher psi pump.

Are you using a variestream with the pump?
The reason i ask is that i am thinking of ordering microbore 2x 100mtrs and feel i would require 2 x100psi and possibly 2 variestream, all comments appreciated

Hi Colin
Only 3 weeks in to it myself,
BUT
I am using microbore with a variestream and am finding that the variestream seems to not allow the pressure I want at the end of the pole.
The pressure builds up in the small bore, so the variestream switches the pump off for a second only to sense that it needs to turn back on again.
This is exactly what it is supposed to do, BUT (for me) it doesn’t allow me to have a constant strong pressure.
As I said, it dose what it is designed to do. But the Microbore because it is a small tube causes the variestream to do its stuff and so hinders the flow.
When my set up needs to be renewed, I will probably choose a pump without it.
Probably a FloJet.
Anyway, Just my thoughts.

You can open up the varistream and turn up the small blue dial a notch or 2.
Then the pressure will build a lot higher.
The setting on mine is ste at "c" but the dial goes around to i think "H"
so there is a lot more potential in your pump and controller set up

Thanks Lads
I really need to get this write as I am starting up in South Africa, what I gather is that 2 pumps are essential for 2 operatives, but the variestream? any other input lads

NO. I do not have a variestream. The flow rate is spot on.
