They're rarely gone for long. Normally they delete their account and then they sign up for a new un' almost straight away.
The best way to advertise a product on here is to take a leaf out of Alex Gardiner's books. He doesn't pay to advertise here, he just produces some good kit, and the people who use it advertise the product here for him.

If he had gone about it in a more professional way, and not been nasty to people who asked him questions.....
He may have got away with his re-branding and quadrupling the price project..
But as it is......................... :P :P

Prob left due to all the abuse,
Just another form of BULLYING Not something really to be making fun of, considering if it was happening to a child it wouldnt be accepted.
If you didnt like his product, do buy it and dont feel the need to pound him into the ground, people commit suicide for bullying, trust me I have seen it.
-
It wasn't bullying.
It was a flawed business model with very little thought behind it.
The whole thing was more of a money making exercise than a business and yes there is a difference between the two. Bosh had no qualms about putting down anyone who said anything about the product he was selling.
The bottom line is he went about it in an unprofessional manner and was doomed to fail.
Interesting to see all the actual name calling is coming from Bosh supporters, maybe that shows the mentality of the people buying the stuff.
He was also selling on the carpet cleaning section and suggesting we all start cleaning conservatories, that is why you suddenly have an influx of carpet cleaners on these threads.
Thinks a lot of you lot doesn't he? Finds a cheap product and rebrands it and sells it to you lot at 4 times the cost and also tries to increase your competition by bringing in the rug suckers.
Close the door on the way out Richard.
-
he finds a cheap product and rebrands it ! it this is the case what is it silver fox ?

to swallow it... it was insulting the way he kept talking
to us like we were carpet beaters :)

As long as he keeps selling his magica one spray, I'm happy. I've cleaned £300 worth of fascias, soffits & conservatory roofs last week (six houses) and I still have some left in the bottle.
-
Once Stu M has confirmed what it was before rebranding he will let people on here know and it will be a lot cheaper.. ;D

I haven't tried it yet but Autosmart G101 general purpose cleaner has the exact same description as magica one go and looking around at least half the price, it has really good reviews from car valaters
have a look on the label of magica, then google autsmart G101 and look at the description
or do a search for oil, grease, soot, brake dust and ink remover then check the description of what it does, again the description is exactly the same as on the back of the 5 litre magica, and there is an autosmart franchise uk wide so easy to get, also all over ebay, amazon etc you can buy 25 litres for less than 5litres of magica :o :o
-
Top man stu :D

Oh God, he's back already!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Top man stu :D
once I have tried it I will do a post for all, so no one is being ripped off

If it is this http://www.autosmart.co.uk/images/PDF%20Folder/Autosmart%20COSHH%20sheets/G101%20-%20SDS11028%20-%20GBR.pdf
Then it should work pretty well - it looks to be quite strong stuff and not good for the eyes :o
Strangely, the sell it in small squirty bottles too.

One of the descriptions of this product on a site that sells it....
Autosmart G101 is professional strength multi-purpose cleaner that is unbeatable for intensive cleaning of neglected wheel arches, engine bays and undercarriage areas. However, the high strength of the solution must not be taken lightly, and care should always be taken to select the correct dilution strength for the task in hand, and to avoid letting it dry out fully before it is rinsed off, otherwise permanent stains may appear on treated surfaces. In short, as long as it is used with a degree of care and at the recommended dilution ratios, Autosmart G101 is an excellent value for money intensive cleaning product, and one that we happily recommend to experienced enthusiasts and professionals alike.
This is a professional strength product and as such carries potentially serious health and usage risks that should be fully understood from the outset - please read the instructions carefully.
Please also note that due to shipping regulations concerning Dangerous Goods, we can only ship this product within the UK at the current time. Orders received for international destinations will be cancelled and refunded in full. Our apologies for any inconvenience.
It maybe points to magica not being this although what you say seems convincing to me. I think/ hope we who bought magica would have been told of the dangers by the seller if it was this as we could have caused some stains/ damage to upvc if used neat, as was encouraged. The colour of magica and foaming effect is a common one in many tfr's
One I found is this

Interesting though what you say and I look forward to seeing your findings.

its possible that the seller could of already diluted the product himself before selling on
thats just a guess though :)

maybe he neglected to warn of such things, but to be fair to spray a brush neat, when it is flowing full of water is getting diluted almost straight away ;) but he certainly should have issued a coshh sheet as it looks like powerful stuff
I can't find a link right now but the description for both items are word for word on most links, well I can find a link and I have a pic of the back of bosh's 5l bottle but as it isn't mine to use I thought maybe I should not use it
-
Are we saying that this stuff is actually dangerous to work with over head height? I've had it dripping on me all blooming day.
