Title: insulation
Post by: Banbury Window Cleaning on September 05, 2012, 06:50:14 am
ok peeps in the process of moving over the next few day!! new set up is a little different to what I have got now!
My new garage is at the bottom of the garden so abt 90ft from my outside tap  :o I was thinking of just running my hosepipe down to the garage and also run the waste back up........ however if we have very cold weather like the last couple of years whats the best way to insulate these as in general my ro is working all night??? The garage will also need work doing as it currently has a dodgy front door I can get in without unlocking it and no back door just a hole in the wall lol
the windows are all rusted and smashed and the tin roof has huge gaps where it sits on the bricks!! damn it I need to insulate the lot me thinks  ;D

I would personally buy a shed and stick an ibc tank in it nearer to the outside tap, It would be a lot easier to insulate and would not cost the earth,is this feasible???

Bury as much as you can as. Prob 18 inches underground will be enough that will stop most of it freezing then insulate rest.
