Hi,
We are working away in exeter this week and need a lot of pure water, I'm planning on bi-passing the internal RO's and filling straight into the tank by tap and running through the DI's.
We filled the DI vessels with new tulsion resin before we left yesterday (1 vessel per van, 2 vans) the tds here is 62ppm so its a pretty soft water area.
For the local lads down here or from anybody else in the know, how much pure water would we expect to make before it needed replacing?
Thanks in advance,
Dean.

Why not look at the resin calculator on gardiner's site?

I'm on my phone at the moment so its a bit difficult,
Do you have a link for the website?
Thanks,
Dean.

You should get about 3000 lts before it starts rising. I have kept a record of using a trolley and 25 ltr barrels for a couple of years ( and that with a tds of 85 ).

i find you need to take that calculator with a pinch of salt i personally don't think its that accurate from experience more of a very rough guideline.

Thanks for that samson,
That is exactly what I was looking for.
What size DI vessel is that?
Cheers,
Dean.

11 ltr, also I use double DI which will make resin last longer.
