Hi
I have owned a couple of poles from a Company which I am not happy with (I am not naming the Company as I dont want to start a bit#hing war).
I need to purchase a 25ft or 30ft pole which I will use most of the day. It needs to be light, durable, have good clips as I have struggled with certain ones in the past, etc.
This is a genuine question as I need to order one this week as my 2 big WF poles are finished!
Please let me know what you think.
Thanks

why do you ask the question? you know the answer: slx25 and buy a section to make a slx 30 when needed ;)
-
Why not buy an slx 30 and take the section off till needed? Does it work out cheaper the other way?
-
SLX.

get the extreme. you're the most important asset to your business so save your shoulders as much ache as possible

Thanks for the feedback, seems like most prefer the SLX (presumably Gardiner). What are the clips and clamps like? I have never used a pole with clips like that. Also I have seen Pure Freedom do a pole. They also use clips I have never used before, which do you think is best in your experience?
Also, how expensive is Carbon!!! Jeesssss!!

don't know pure freedom poles but gardiners pole are definitely very good, probably the best on the market at the moment. If you can't afford a slx, buy a clx, they are still light and great poles. Plus gardiners has an outstanding service, it is very important imho ;)

i wouldnt go down the pure freedom route as everyday something goes wrong with my kit and thats not a joke

The answer is Gardiners.
Now what was the question?

I need to buy a van, fit it out, get some work, do my tax returns, etc, etc, so please could you give me all the answers in minute detail so as I don't have to do a thing for myself.
Thank you.

IMO the best all allrounder for both domestic and small/medium commercial jobs is a GARDINER 25FT SLX.
i will be investing in a 25ft EXTREME pole next time i need a main pole though to reduce strain even more.
i use mine with an aqua-daptor and a selection of carbon goosenecks with various gardiner brushes.
hope this helps
very best wishes

I use the SLX poles, great poles,I have gone on the Gardiner site quite a few times over the last week to buy the Extreme, but finding it difficult to part with that amount of my hard earned, also a wee bit unsure of how the 18' would work with having to extend each section fully ???
