Ive only ever used pencil jets, im curious to know what the advantages/disadvantages are with fan jets?!

Fans spray a mist everywhere, specially when its windy

Was really hard to use fan jets in bad weather so went back to pencil

fans are great for large glass areas as they cover a greater area. wind can really affect them

I prefer pencil jets.  I like the way the water hits the glass and spreads, its good for rinsing.
