Hello guys - any help here gratefully received ,
We have a stimvak maestro as a second machine - we have had it out for a few weeks now on a large commercial job as the power brush works well on bigger spaces -
problem is . . . . one or two air locks with the pump - sorted them happens every time machines turned off and on .
then the only attachment to work now is the hand tool ? good spray etc ...
the wand and power brush both have just a trickle of water or sometimes a half spray ?
so jets all cleaned and checked / triggers all cleaned checked and swapped out for the hand tool which works and still no joy .
i would be inclined to think the pumps going ? but why would it work fine on the hand tool and not the other wands .
taken pump apart - motor runs fine - pump head also clean - no damage or rips ect .
so am a little stumped .
Thanks in advance .

any inline filter on the powerbrush or wand ? .... would probably look like a one inch metal barrel that u twist apart .
-
Check any inlet filters on the supply side of the pump also for any kinks in the line - It sounds like reduced water supply to the pump.

hi ,
there are no in line filters on the wand or power brush just a clear tube from the trigger to the spray nozzle same on both the power brush and wand - wand has 1 jet power b has 3 ,
i know the brass fittings you mean we have one on our other machine but the stim vac has none
the water feed pipe has a wire mesh filter in the tank - have tried with in on and off .
thank s

oh - i also tried it with a power wand from a cfr same problem as the others some spray then just a trickle - but works fine with a hand tool ? still

They came with a vac bleed attachment use that of suck thru the hand tool and try that, they always used to get air locks but once vac'd were fine
-
hi ,
weve been able to suck lol the water through the hand tool to get the pump working - we dont have a vac tool ? that you mentioned
would it be same as taping the vack on to the outlet on the spray on the hand tool and vacing it that way ?
hope that made sense ?

check your quick release couplings. if they r worn [the spring gets weak] . swop them around to check it out

If you are still having trouble-
Uncouple the hose from tank to pump at the pump end. BLOW not suck to see if it is clear, if OK then reconnect and-
Undo the hose from the pump to any pressure regulator - try pump. If that is ok-
reconnect hose and undo hose from regulator to coupling on casing try pump.
Just try each bit at a time until you find the fault.

Hello there, My very first machine was a Stimvak Maestro some twenty years ago, The original Stimvak wand that came with it had a small white plastic trigger and in the trigger was a top hat filter and you will find there is one in the trigger of the powerbrush as well
