Title: who's going to the ncca carnival day.

is there a list of who's attending? i don't know if to go the night before or travel down in the morning, although I'm off on holiday on the Monday, so might have to work the weekend.

whats happening? is it demonstration & lectures?

Was going to but its too hard to get too from Belfast.  Poor flight times etc.

Also not as many suppliers there as Id like to chat to.

I do think these days have lost their edge a little bit, years ago one of these day was a major event and would have been talked about a lot, but this one seems to have gone a little bit quite.

perhaps the NCCA members have been getting excited about it but haven't seen it mentioned on Cleantalk or here much

It's seems to be more family day out than hardcore cleaners get together.

I remember the first day out to franklins about 10 years ago.  We all sat talking shop till 2am in the hotel. Early days of the Internet.  But now with the net and all the forums it's killed those days off a bit. Only reason to go now is to see some new machine or equipment.

Sunny day format was good with live demos and instruction.

Mike,

Get your backside down on Friday evening, I think there will be a sizeable gathering in the campsite area with BBQ and beer, good old bit of chinwag etc

The daytime event will be the usual sort of thing but with added "fun" activities.  Not sure if Mr Maybury is appearing this time but I might even make it to the actual event before 3pm this time!

As Jim says its worth it just for the Friday night. Even though last year we got stuck on the A1 for 5 hours and didin't get there till 10.30 at night still had a good couple of hours.
I won't be exhibiting but will be helping out on the Chemspec stand along with Jamiie.
Worth going just to talk to John Bryden.

I've been thinking that i need all the spending money i can get to go on holiday so will work that weekend,

BUT!!! I have loads of crap valuable stuff to sell.  i might sort through my shed and put up a things for sale at the show   post and if I get enough sold to people who can pick it up from the show I will go

I must admit, last year was a bit quiet in terms of people actually turning up at the NCCA event - so we wont be going.
